| My most recent addition is the new S&W model 1854 in .44 magnum, with a good red dot. Great bad weather gun. My heavy reloads put the hammer on big Iowa bucks. 300 grain Speers leave two leaking holes no matter where you shoot them. Center of shoulder anchors them on the spot. If you dare to be different, a lever gun in .41 magnum is an overachiever. Faster and flatter than .44, yet still big bore frontal area. I load 240/grains as warm as I can get them.
