I'm not sure how sinful beer is. Probably one of the best beers I've had came from a monastery in Bavaria. Kloster Andechs. Travelled there a few times. Monks brew the beer and it's all brewed at the monastery. It's not 1000' from the church, it is AT the church!

They've been at it a few years now, actually since 1455.

They don't consider it too sinful. Neither did I.
