I would say Wall Street is a beneficiary of inflation instead of contributor. But that might just be more symantics.

I completely agree with you that the market is wildly over valued in many cases based on the price paid for earnings............ or in some cases lack of earnings. Look at how many years of earnings it would take to pay back the investment in the stock.
