Yes, but the public also doesn't want the medicine. They just want "theirs", hence status quo. You and I both see it in farm payments. I still cash the checks so I am a hypocrite too.
Being forced to play the “game” does not make one a hypocrite.
Trying to justify farm subsidies over other subsidies while complaining about deficit spending makes one a hypocrite.
I’m equally opposed to all subsidies and wasteful spending including completely unnecessary farm subsidies.
