 39.48, -82.98 | I didn't want to hijack the thread below...but does anyone have advice on the best way to clean contacts after a cell goes bad? They're often called "alkaline," so you would assume you'd use something acidic? But acids are corrosive, and the contact points are already corroded.
As an aside, why are AA the worst for going bad? I can't remember the last time a C cell leaked. And, of course, the new flashlights that appear to use C cells are packed with little AAs. :-( | |
