We have a couple fields that look pretty rough but they're probably too good to tear up at this point in time.
In talking with a couple different seed dealers and agronomists were not alone. There's about a 2 day time frame of planting before we had a hard rain that doesn't look very good. Supposedly there's lots of field with 24-26k stands after dropping ~32k.
Fields planted further in advance of the rain look pretty good and stuff planted after the rain looks good. Seems like every year there's at least one day that it would have been better to stay in bed all day instead of plant corn. Problem is you don't know that until after the fact.
