| w1891 - 5/21/2026 20:01 The issue is CD’s are basically risk free via the taxpayers. Why should anyone get that sort of return for doing absolutely nothing and risking absolutely nothing? With fractional reserve lending, CD’s as a capital source for banks isn’t really a thing.
The bigger question is why should savers have their savings confiscated via inflation???
Fractional reserve lending = inflation = confiscation = theft.
