It’s all about money, some people are wanting to save it by using AI to replace people and some are wanting to make it by tracking peoples every move and their tendencies so they can target advertising based on your past behavior.
This is pretty much it, you can already see some job replacement happening among graphic designers, computer engineers/scientists, and a few other jobs. AI has come a long ways in the last couple years, it no longer tells me to spray my watermelons with glyphosate, so maybe it has some promise. I can actually see instances where it will probably speed up technology acting as a research assistant, but it really comes down to the person using it. |
