Iowa | Basically if you can analyze what a person does you understand tendencies- imagine how much information that cell phone in your pocket can glean. When you stand, sit, go to the bathroom, gps tracking. Now add in that many people put in what they eat, drink, pictures, shopping likes and dislikes. Ever wonder why your facebook feed may show an ad for something you’ve never even talked about but thought about? Imagine being a company and being able to have ai create tailored ads that use people’s instincts to buy. It’s like the coke/popcorn slides they put into movies in the early years - it used your own subconscious against you. Interesting enough I read an article that said today’s youth are even more predictable than previous generations- because of social media they all have similar experiences and the diversity of thoughts is much less than previous generations. | |
