I've said for many years that ALL govt subsidies, doesn't matter what its for or who gets it initially, end up going to real estate acquisition and increasing land values.
It doesn't matter if the subsidy is for farmers, renewable diesel, corn stalk ethanol, solar, wind, housing, water lines, health care, data centers, roads, etc, etc. It doesn't matter, give it time and it all ends up in real estate. Once its in real estate, it all flows to acquiring more land which drives up farm land prices.
The only way to stop it is to stop subsidizing EVERYTHING and quit creating more money out of thin air.
