| I agree that some of his "off the cuff" comments I find humor in and some are things people are thinking, including myself, that only Donald Trump can get away with saying out loud. BUT, his post on his Social Media account, of his own free will, that he admitted he himself posted was WAY over the top. I know of no other human in my 63 years of life that has posted such a thing or even mentioned the equality of it before all this social media stuff. Really struck a bad chord with me ( referencing Eric Church's NC commencement address), that went totally against the values of myself, my parents and my grandparents. That is my opinion. Based on facts from the Bible that has been instilled in me since birth. If you can't stand up for your faith why stand up for anything?
That post was not "off the cuff", it was disrespectful,disgraceful, and disturbing. THAT is when I lost all respect for the man OR any man/woman that would've/would do the same. And to add insult to injury he doesn't even apologize for it..... I would allow a little grace for him knowing he thought it was wrong but nothing. | |
