I read yes Brazil is having some problems with the high prices of fertilizer. China is restricting or limiting its export of fertilizer for domestic use. Now the question is China limiting fertilizer to other countries and maybe not so much to Brazil? ( just my own thinking as China is going to import grain from somewhere and hate to starve the country which grows the goods)

Brazil is worlds largest fertilizer importer.

Yes the tensions in middle east may effect Brazil input cost.

I would imagine just like people here is USA did they buy all their inputs already or buying as needed and at the mercy of the swinging market.

Also high fuel prices will have impact on margins as the grain is moved to port for export. Combination truck, rail, barge. I imagine high fuel cost will have impact on USA farmer exports as well.

There is several articles here is one if interested.
