I farm in central Kansa s and we had oil production on almost all my farms in the 1960s almost none now productiom declines rapidilly over time and by the end salt water is about all they produce and its good for nothing . We should probally not export any crude oil at all.The countries that are buying it would not sell it to us if the the situation was turned around.
