Ne. Panhandle | Mine looks about the same and is second year crop as well.
Planted it last august and never really did get a good start.
I don't know if you are as dry as us out that way but we are parched here!
My thoughts are the the top part of the soil profile is so dang dry and the young plants haven't rooted deep enough yet to reach good moisture. | |
