Here is an example from the Lima 6 label:
Pre-Emergent
Apply 0.5 pt. of Lima 6 to emerged weeds from 3 - 5 days after planting but before corn emerges. DO NOT use on very light, sandy soils. Use the higher rates
on heavy soils. Plant corn as deep as practical. Product will not control weeds which have not emerged.
Some 24d labels may allow preemerge applications but just because you can doesn’t mean you should, as IL weedman explained.
Kind of like prowl behind the planter with soybeans south of I80
The label I have has no pre emergence restrictions other than a close seed furrow and do not apply to sandy soils, but it does have a 7-14 day wait on preplant.
That is why I asked the question.
Perhaps different labels is what is causing the confusion on not reading the label correctly?
