Running on top of an old row may be more of a concern in beans into stalks.
If he has a totally tricked out planter (row shutoffs) just have him plant at an angle into stalks. Might even be an option in corn and COC depending on your field layout.
that's what i do, plant at a angle. Worked with another guy who planted my corn and i planted his beans. He was old school and loved to talk on the phone when planting. told him more than once that im going to hire Stevie Wonder to plant next time!! LOL This year I'm planting my corn, he passed away last July. Sure had some good laughs with his overlapped rows. |
