Had a neighbor like that. Wore a thick rubber watchband with watch mounted in it so it didn’t touch his wrist. Claimed it doubled his battery life to 4 months. He could also walk by our pole light with automatic eye and put his hand on the pole and light would go out. Could always tell when he was coming over for a beer of an evening.
