I think the condition and operation of a planter trumps the fancy upgrades.
A well maintained (older) finger pickup corn planter will probably outyield a 3-5 year old corn planter thats lacking basic maintenance or adjustments (maybe even a new one thats not setup right). Planters are getting too complicated for most people and the electronic gremlins are too frustrating. |
