I have done testing on liquid Phosphorus movement in a band placed on top of the soil. After 2 weeks at 2.5" depth with 1.5" of rain the P level at that level was up 200%. I encourage you to pull some 2 to 2.5" tests then after planting and a 1 to 1.5" rains pull the 2 to 2.5" in test under the band your planter applied.
Just so i understand, are you saying that you removed the top 2 inches of soil and your sample only includes the soil from 2 inches down to 2.5 inches down? |
Does the P in 19-17-0 move down if placed too shallow
