It has something to do with marketing revenue off of your land and the useless pathetic waste that some of these entities that offered exuberant amounts to lease your land are using that is not a feasible way to continue the lease after the government electrical power subsidies cease to exist. This is a marketing forum and not just for grain marketing. Marketing includes leases for your land.

Speaking of useless and pathetic waste.

Trump administration to pay French company $1B to drop U.S. offshore wind leases

There is mounting evidence that the vibration and noise from offshore windmills is extremely harmful to aquatic life. Some research has shown that it can have a significant effect on whales and might be affecting their migration patterns, communications, and might even be cause some them stranded on beaches.

Low frequency sounds can carry for hundreds of miles underwater. Whales are capable of communicating over vast distances and if they can do it there is a good possibility that the noise from the windmills can be transmitted long distances also. In some cases to the whales it might be like having many conversations going on at the same time in a phone call.

It is unfortunate but often the greenies in their zealous feel good efforts are no better for the environment than those they chastise.
