Prove me wrong that the utility needs your “infrastructure” more than you need theirs and go off the grid.
If everyone had solar and net meters the grid would cease to exist because it is financially unsustainable for the utility companies to operate without a margin.
It’s the equivalent of you being forced to buy and truck your neighbors grain to an end user for free and then buy corn off the market and truck it back to his farm when he needs it back.
