Guys here are tired of getting a dollar less than cash price because of quality problems (falling numbers, low protein, vomitoxin, etc.). The things that moved barley and durum out of this area in the 90s are finally doing the same to spring wheat. But those with no clue are still gonna blame ethanol and crop insurance
To be fair, ethanol plants have a habit of taking anything resembling corn compared to elevators. |
