Moose333 - 3/31/2026 09:43 X2 I have 25 cows and 10 replacement heifers. I can hand feed every single one of them and they know what the bucket means. If they cant figure that out they usually go in the trailer. I dont have time for cattle that dont listen. I agree. I can hand any one of mine a windfall apple. They see me with a 5 gal pail of sweet feed they come running into the corral but know the drill and will step aside so I can pour it into the bunk. I talk to my herd all the time especially when in close quarters. But that is very different from petting or scratching them. |
