WNY | I dont think they are born that way (for the most part), we have some cows that we raised as calves it and some that were raised with people constantly around that are like that it takes alot to get them to that stage. They will come up to you to scratch etc and dont go crazy when you put a little pressure on them, Then we have some we bought as older cows that its apparent were never around humans much. I'd much rather take the "pets" over the hawky ones. Working the wild dont touch me cows is how people get hurt and gates etc get mangled. Never seen one of the "pet" ones jump over a concrete wall or bust through a gate..

Why do people make cows pets
