Agree 100%...fear is a huge motivator.
More than once I have watched people carefully read fuel pump choices, choose to pay at least a dime more per gallon for 87 octane vs 88 octane, and have asked them why they made the choice they did...fear of damaging their engine has always been their answer.
Hopefully they never risk killing themselves by taking prescription medications…
