Kansas | Southern KS. It used to be that you could bank on trying to squeeze in corn planting between the rains. We are now going on 5 Springs here with less that 1/3 of normal rainfall in March-April. Last year, it turned around and we had a wet summer. The previous 3 stayed dry. Not sure what this year will bring, but sure doesn't feel good to start with a March this hot and dry. | |
