NW Indiana | Trump has never been a fan of war and I don't believe he has intentions of being in this thing long. He likes the economy too much to drag this thing out. He is also aware of the implications on mid terms. I don't think this is something he wanted to do at all but likely the security risk became to a level he had no choice. Higher energy is bad for the economy. The risks are to the downside in oil and grains imo, up in equities. Oil production elsewhere has to be maxing out what they can to take advantage, this spike could turn out to be majorly bearish oil 12-18 months. I hedged some 27 corn at 4.92 to get started, hopefully my worst sale but I doubt it. | |
