Yep, USDA and their cheap food policy will be turned on.
I see this repeated a lot and it confuses me. Do that many people really believe it? Over HALF our corn and soy are either exported or turned into fuel. So cheap food for the word? Cheap fuel? This saying may have been close to true 50 years ago when it was said, but couldn’t be further from reality today. This without going into the % cost our corn and soy actually contribute to the final product…
If you don’t think this statement is true, let’s stop all USDA’s reports and see where the market prices go.
