| I think eagles only migrate a little ways, mostly to open water, they congregate in the winter on the Mississippi by Wabasha MN, we have a nest less then 1/4 mile west of the farm. they come pick cleanings up during calving, had a cow abort that they feasted on next to the barn in January. Heifer calved last spring, must have been a hard calving as she was laying there with dead calf behind her with the eyes pecked out, could have been eagles or ravens, saw both of them out there when I got there. I have her number, she did raise an adopted calf, but she is real close to free one way ticket down the road. | |
