Nebraska aka the boondocks | I would say it’s amazing how little people know what is going on, but…. According to the chief ethanol and bunge people in Nebraska I have talked to, maybe we can grind another 200 million bushels, without expansion. Their words, not mine. Many plants are running well beyond nameplate capacity already. The waivers, don’t create the certainty that permanent “allowance” of e15 would to stimulate investment in enough expansion, not to say that some are not doing it. Apparently in some peoples minds, deregulation is the same as a mandate. |
