NW Indiana | I'll take the other side of this. Although I don't think the intentions are this war to last very long so I don't expect this but lets say it does. High energy costs are a major headwind for the economy. People will slow discretionary fast as a result. If anything the fed will have to lower rates sooner than anticipated as the economy comes to a halt. Everyone needs to remember price increase is not necessarily inflation. Inflation is more dollars chasing fewer goods and I don't see how higher energy costs from lack of supply is that to the overall economy. | |
