NW KS | Mine wasn't an NH3 knife but was similar. I used one that was supposed to go on a box blade. I bent a piece of pipe that would fit 1/2 pex pipe into a J shape to guide the pex to the bottom of the slot. I was able to get 11-12 inches of depth with this setup. I didn't have to go very far but it seemed to work ok. I had it hooked to my skid loader bucket so there was a lot of room for improvements. Work ok for the 200 or so feet I needed to go through a lawn. The pex was conduit for a fiber optic cable. I can get a photo of shank I modified but it was similar to the one in the photo.
