Feet, udders, vaginal prolapses, disposition, fertility all were problems here.
The Oleen bred cattle have been the most trouble free, productive cattle that I've owned.
The 2 highest selling bulls were Herefords at over $20,000 each. I think the top Angus bull was $17,800.
First calf heifer pairs were in the $6400-6800 average range.
Fall bred heifers were in the $5400-5700 average range.
Their commercial females have always sold at a premium. After having bought several of them over the years I know why - they are just that good!
If you had a bad experience with Herefords in the past, I would recommend you try Oleen Brothers in the future because there is a difference amongst breeders.
