west-byGod-Pa. | Commendations to you on such a project. Many opportunities to mess up the design! A massive undertaking! Pictures remind me of when Carroll put in a mill at Wooster , Ohio. I was given a tour of the facility( 1994-I think). Tour guide said it was a continuous pour. I asked what that meant. He said concrete pour started at end of warehouse & finished at top of tower-one continuous pour. He was proud of the fact that “ they did not “ lose” anyone. I asked him to explain. He said it was “ normal” to have someone killed in the process of a continuous pour, as it was so complex, & so dangerous. I cannot fathom that being “ normal”. I do know that a number of men died during Hoover Dam construction, but that was a much more massive/complex enterprise. | |
