| My address is Waterloo but I went to a small town school that has an attendance rate that is quite different just 15 miles apart. When I worked in the factory we were ready to send someone out looking for a 50 year old guy that wasn't at work one night,,,,in 25 years he had never been late.He showed up 30 minutes later,after sliding into the ditch then walking a mile home to get a tractor to pull his pickup out of the ditch, he still made it. Other guys called in sick most Fridays,but since we were short of help they never got fired.
I usually missed a couple days a year when I was in school,but if you had to stay in bed all day because you said you were sick ,there wasn't much point to fake anything | |
