It was on theinternet  so it must be true.  I watched a reel on FaceBook and they were saying the new meters take an average use taken several times a day.  They said the meter kept running even when the breaker was turned off and no elec. was being used.  They claimed the elec companies are making extra billions off the customers this way.  They called the elec company and they said sorry, but is just the way it will be.
