NW IL | You would think any fertility that the potatoes needed to grow would still be in the vines/tubers.
The only fertility lost would be anything that leached or got tied up in the soil.
This would almost be like asking, if you never harvested a corn field in the fall, would you need to fertilize again in the spring? You wouldn't have any removal rates in that scenario either... | |
