You make that tanker load of red diesel i bought in December look CHEEP! now! 2.23$ gallon.
<< Its not that distant in my memory when it was + $1000.00 to fill my semi tanks with road fuel.
You can get a 250 or 300 gravity tank for almost no money around on auctions sometimes and just get it filled once in a while instead of driving and extra 40 miles.
If you drive 30 miles for half a tank because its too expensive, you drive twice for the 100 gallons it could hold and 80 miles. How is that saving anything?
I knew of a lady who would put 10 gallons in her 22 gallon tank because it cost too much...At one point I asked here why she doesn't just fill it and skip wasting time and gas driving to the station for a couple of gallons. Its NOT cos prohibitive.
I have had stored fuel with Algaecide added in a big tank for years on the same fill with zero issues.
