IA/MN/WI | Bought N last fall. I have yet to see a university or independent study that shows P&K applied above 25% grain removal pays. I stripped 75lbs of potash 25lbs of DAP and 150lbs of Gypsum ahead of corn. I know guys are going to say I'm mining my ground or I'm full of BS, but it's my 4th year doing this and my aph is 225+, last year was the best corn I've ever had, farm average of 257bpa. I put zero fert ahead of the beans, just spend about $65-75 in season on micros, some in-furrow stuff, and 4 foliar passes, that's been working just fine. | |
