Southeast Washington | Case doesn't open up more than the set rpm is what I have seen. S lot is displacement of the engine or lack thereof. On our quads we usually have one limit set at 1650-1800 rpm and the higher limit set at 1900 rpm. If set at 1900rpm it won't pull a hill in the set gear. Turn off the constant rpm where it can Rev up to the 2100 rpm and it will go up the hill in that gear. The Challenger with the C18 with over 100 hp less would just bark and the torque rise would take it right up the hill no questions asked if it was set at constant 1900 rpm.
