Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | As I mentioned, I have one from the Chinese but haven't used it. Mine wasn't very expensive.
Apparently yours has failed more than once. Do they develop a leak or does the switch go bad? Is this in water or some other liquid?
I have considered using it to control filling a large water storage tank for spray water in my mixing shed. I would use it to trigger a 12V ON/OFF valve for filling the tank. Presently I am using a Hudson valve in the tank lid that shuts off the flow when its float is raised by the water level. This works quite well but does require cleaning occasionally.
If the Chinese float switch is not reliable, I won't bother with the conversion.
