Central Nebraska | I needed to make some pivot circle lines for my AFS Connect 280 a few days ago and used CaseIH FieldOps for the first time. I have to admit it was very easy to use and as I poked around I liked what I saw. I haven't had a chance to import and/or manipulate any other data but it looks like it has the potential to replace SMS for what I do, which is almost all guidance line management. I have a mixed fleet with a Pro 1200, Trimble TMX2050, FMX, and a few Pro 700/372 units. When I use my current methods to try and keep lines in sync between machines I have troubles with some curves and circles not wanting to work on anything but the unit the line was create on. I also struggle with naming conventions as some displays like to change the name on import.
Has anyone experimented with FieldOps in a mixed fleet environment and had good luck? In a perfect world I'd like to export all my lines out of the TMX (using the FMX Plus app), give all the lines I have appropriate names, and then export to USB drives for the various displays. |
