I haven’t fertilized in the spring going on the third year now due to very dry springs. Usually apply 30 lbs ahead of drilling in the fall. Might have 20 or so lbs of residual N.
Have had 60-90 bushel wheat the last 2 years. All depending on timing of rain and how much. I am not expecting to fertilize any wheat this year due to drought. Not that I wouldn’t like to but we’re going backwards fast. |
