Southern Missouri | Todd , very interesting post , first time reading about your parents/ young years , they sound like thoughtful interesting couple and hooked everyone up to the good ol American way . My family story very interesting in similar but vastly different ways and sounds like a lot of the differences was just strictly because of where the wagon wheel fell off and set up camp to work though the 1900s and now here we are . Very proud of my 5 siblings and how they all lived their lives and the families they’ve created as well . This line of posts is very interesting and I don’t think anyone has a permanent answer , families are pretty diverse and no changing that , the succession of old family land around me has never ceased to amaze me at how very very different it is today compared to how I thought it would play out 40 years ago when I started really paying attention to farm family land and who wound up with it ( and who wound up zeros , there’s plenty of them around) growing up farm kid for the last 68 years sure been interesting across the good ol USA | |
