Everybody that says that can’t answer the question of… what should happen when you leave the whole farm to your child who farms. (you have 2 or more children let’s say). Then later on your child you left all or a major majority of the farm to has no children who want to farm, but does have children, and then one of your other children has kids that want to farm but they have no farm assets left to them. Is your child who farms supposed to leave everything to a niece or nephew and not to their kids later?
We can “what if” until we are blue in the face. I guess the answer to your question would be that I would expect my son to be mature and honest enough to do what he thinks is best in that scenario. I most likely won’t be around for it, so who am I to answer for someone else? |
