First congrats on your extremely successful business acumen. Impressive no doubt.
Where your argument fails is "the brats" putting in the hours for years at little or no pay to further the previous generations net worth.
Look at it from that perspective and try again.

There are plenty of "hopeless greedy sad sacks" that helped their family triple their net worth over the last 20 years. To ignore that is folly.

At the end of the day the parent (s) have to have a plan. if they want the estate equal to the knats azz they can certainly do it. Typically the off farm heir is putting in 60% of the hours to make the same or more pay, so that plays a factor in what gets divvied up.
