west central mo | I say don't worry about it. We'll be dead. Kids need to be able to make their own decisions on what they want to be when they grow up not carry on some family name because of a thousand acres.... yeah it's a lot of money... but if you want to make real money and I mean real money its not in farming. It's ceo's, cfo's, surgeon's, hedge fund managers etc. I tell my kid to do whatever she wants... its cool to carry on a legacy but we'll be dead so who cares and chances are the family farm will dissolve in the upcoming generations anyways. No need in causing hatred amongst kids over literally a piece of paper but everyone gets tied up on it myself included. | |
