If you want to make “bank”, you’d better have 200+hd. No different than the farming game, 500 acres isn’t going to make you rich even with $7 corn.
Not sure why you had to blast garvo to start with. I’ll guarantee he isn’t setting the price of feeder calves for the entire nation. His operation is a testament to his business sense. You don’t build an empire like his locking in losses.
If the cow calf thing wasn’t working for you, so be it. You don’t have to be a bitter old man about it though. Maybe try explaining what part just wasn’t for you, then other young folk can make an informed decision on whether or not they should get into the industry. | |
