I guess I never think about crop insurance. To me that is not money from farming.
Some folks don't have that great a APH, especially if they are starting out.
Also some folks are not eligible for crop insurance subsidy.
If you have ground that is sodbusted or wetland that is farmed you are not eligible for government money.
You’re working really hard to stretch things to the extreme to prove you can loose money with paid for land and paid for equipment… how does someone get paid for land and equipment on a level to farm full time or of any size and be that poor of a risk manager? |
