I agree. Anymore, either the farm survives and the surviving farmer has most if not all of the assets giving to him/her to keep the farm going or an estate is divided up equally and the farmer has to buy out siblings and the farm dies.
Maybe at one time it could be done they way but not any more. Buying out siblings puts the farm on hold for 20 years or more if it can be done at all and by then that generation is retiring and his kids have seen the struggle and moved away.
